Hair Care

Proper care for your new extensions is key to keeping them looking great and lasting as long as possible. For the first 48 hours, avoid washing your hair, tying it up tightly, or exposing it to heavy sweating or steam. Once you start washing, use a sulfate-free shampoo. Always brush gently (before and after washing), working from the ends upward with a brush suitable for extensions - being especially careful around the attachment points. Sleeping with a loosely braided plait or a soft bun helps prevent tangling overnight.

Regular maintenance is just as important as everyday care. Depending on the method used, we recommend a check-up and repositioning roughly every 6-8 weeks (Tape-Ins) or 8-10 weeks (Micro-Links), since your natural hair grows and the attachment points move away from the scalp. Avoid oils and heavy conditioners near the roots, as they can weaken the bonds and cause slipping. With proper care, your extensions will stay soft, healthy, and full of life between appointments.
